[France] Concert d'ouverture du Festival international de musique de Besançon sonorisé par Espace concept en FAN

Le concert d’ouverture du Festival international de musique de Besançon sera sonorisé par Espace Concept en FAN, c'est à dire en s'appuyant sur une chaine de captation, de traitement et de diffusion presque entièrement numérique. EtherSound est le mode de transmission sur lequel s'appuie l'approche FAN. Le concert d'ouverture aura lieu le vendredi 11 septembre à 20h30, place de la révolution à Besançon (25).

A new variation of EtherSound!

EtherSound runs rings round Nagai Stadium in Osaka

Nagai Stadium in Osaka recently became the first stadium in Japan to boast a fully digital audio network and control system following a major upgrade of the existing 15 year-old facilities. The massive project, under the direction of consultant and system designer Yoshiteru Mimura of M&H Laboratory Co. Ltd., based in Kyoto, with installation by Panasonic, provides comprehensive control and EtherSound audio distribution via a Gigabit network in a redundant ring topology comprising 2.5 km of fiber.

Everybody dreams of launching "the" product that will revolutionize the market and change the way people work forever, but few actually achieve it. And very occasionally a product is launched with a potential that even the manufacturer himself hadn't anticipated. Switch Hitting: A Winning Product Strategy for Networked Audio

Lee Minich, President of EtherSound Authorized Implementor Lab X Technologies, discusses the importance of "switch hitting:" developing products that allow the customer to choose which network to use. Lab X Technologies, which has been assisting professional and consumer electronics manufacturers with product concept and development for over a decade, developed the ESX module to facilitate development of EtherSound interfaces in network-ready digital audio products.
