Following the development of the Studer EtherSound interface card, Soundcraft and Digigram have announced a similar interface card for the Soundcraft Vi4™ and Soundcraft Vi6™ Digital Live Sound consoles.

Sometimes it may be interesting to establish a link between EtherSound and IP. The Visiblu technology provides – among other features – a solution for this connection.

Digital console manufacturer Studer and EtherSound network developer Digigram will showcase the EtherSound interface card for Studer consoles at this year’s IBC Expo. Studer (Hall 8 - 456) and Digigram (Hall 8 - 374) booths will be connected by a common CAT5 cable allowing to transmit 2 x 64 audio channels from one console to another, exactly in the same way two studios can from now on be connected.
